ArtShop – ArtBlog
4 in 1. Two parent themes with 1 localized child theme each!

The ArtShop is created for people who’d like to sell tangible items nationwide/worldwide and/or downloadable items but who would also like to be able to write regular posts. In this theme the Shop is the main category whereas the Art, Photography and Other categories are of secondary importance.
The ArtBlog is designed much like the ArtShop only without the shopping cart functionality to satisfy people who like the ArtShop but want the theme only as a blog.
This fully localized Wordpress Theme comes with all layered psd files, a visual help guide, an installation wizard and already in two full languages: English and German .

Additionally you may get the layered PSD only, or just the coded XHTML template for use in the cms of your choice. Use the buttons below to navigate.

Templates:-
- Parent theme with child themes for stress free theme updates. Create your own child theme or modify one of the ones provided,
- Tabed Theme Options for better organization ( see screenshots )
- Featured Post using the new sticky feature introdused already in WP2.7,
- Option to custom define the excerpt length for Sticky posts, posts in multible post pages, sidebar shop posts and posts viewed under their respective tags from the theme’s options page,
- Option to have thumbnail images display or not for posts under "Recent Posts" on the Homepage
- Category specific templates that are dynamically adjusted to your category ID’s without the need that you manually rename any of the files. 1st and 2nd level categories as well as their single post pages have been taken into account.
- Subcategories are dynamically detected and a "Browse by Subcategory" section appears in the sidebar like you see here and here,
- A "More in this category" section will appear as you see here and here if a category has more than one post.
- cformsII styles included
Widgets:-
You have a front page widget ready sidebar, a category widget ready sidebar as well as a separate single and page widget ready sidebars apart from the 3 widget ready sections in the footer. Altogether 7 independent widget ready areas!
Images:-
Images are added directly into the post content. No custom fields! No need to install any plugins for using this feature!
Landscape, Portrait and Square images have been taken into account and a thumbnail copy of your images (the size of which you can custom define in the theme’s options page) is created for you preserving the image’s ratio.

Hi, I love this design and am interested in purchasing it for a photo/vignette site I’m building. Questions:
What is the difference between Art Blog and Art Blog Grey, which I see mentioned on one of the pages here in the demo.
Clicking the “Available on Theme Forest” link takes me to a page featuring both designs, Art Blog and Art Shop. Do you get both with one purchase, or is there a link directly to Art Blog?
Is it possible to manage colors and headers through the admin, or would a person have to modify the CSS and image folders?
Please let me know as, again, I’d very much like to purchase this theme.
ArtBlog is the parent theme and ArtBlogGrey is the child theme you need both for the theme to work.
ArtShop is the shop version of the theme and it’s sold together with the ArtBlog.
Colours are adjusted in the css file.

i’m thinking of purchasing your template. One question….. We are going to have products that people can buy from another site as well as the regular shop. Is there a way of removing the add to cart button for these items? e.g there will be a link only where people can go to buy

If you are interested in a theme that has this already built in, our 2 latest themes “The Clothes Shop” and “The Furniture Store” have that already build in, along with some other additional features that “The ArtShop” does not have.

Hello…of the hundreds of WordPress blog themes I reviewed I think I like this the best for a new blog about my established wedding photography studio. It’s a beautiful neutral gray textured background that will showcase photos beautifully and there’s no need to have reverse (white) type on a black bachground, which I think is a little hard to read.
I’m new to blogging. Not interested in e-commerce, just a nice creative-looking blog that compliments what our photography is all about.
1- Can this be used as a regular blog, updated whenever, without the ecommerce functions visible?
2- Will the title on top be the same typeface as the nice artshop design, and is there an option for a tagline just underneath it?
3- Does it take the normal widgets or plug-ins that standard WordPress themes do?

Now to answer your questions:
1. Yes, you may use the ArtBlog theme that comes along with the ArtShop
2. I suppose you may include a tagline. You’ll need to make the header a little bigget for it to fit and add the needed php call for it to display. Let me know if you need help with that. The logo psd is provided so you will be able to customize it to fit your needs.
3. Yes it does

Looks like a great theme and I will no doubt be purchasing ArtShop. I just need to confirm that it is capable of working in US Dollars. I didn’t see that specifically referenced anywhere in the documentation.
