Bonjour,
j’ai acheté ce thème mais je ne parviens pas à l’installer. je dois mettre quel dossier dans le ftp ?
Merci d’avance pour votre réponse
Lavande
I’m sorry but as I speak English, Greek or German support can only follow in one of these languages. That is until my French is better

An milo? Kalo! Kipreos?
No I am Greek actually. in London the last 3 years

Sarah,
Well done on an amazing thing. I have used Magento and Shopify before but I have to say after watching the video I will be testing this out shortly!
Robert
Thank you! Please do try it out
Hi Sarah,
What a great theme, I’ve customized ours and it’s great, there’s a lot going on but I wouldn’t even consider myself a programmer and was able to edit the theme easily.
Great theme
Colin
If you know anyone who can convert the theme into differant langauages or add language packs to the original them then I’d be interested in this
The theme is already localized so you can easily translate it into your target language(s). Did you see the translation pdf document enclosed in the Documentation folder?
Hi, I love the theme, but can’t install it ! It tells me to change permissions, wich I did, but stays stuck at this point. BTW, it checks permissions of folders that don’t even exist on my “uploads” folder. ??? Any thoughts ? please help !
Hallo Sarah,
3. Ja, Updates wird’s immer geben und sind immer kostenlos “for life”
Danke für die super schnelle Antwort!
Dann werd ich mal Kunde bei dir
Schön
does this have a place you can add a BLOG portion w/ the store too? Thankyou for your help!
Not yet, but I think I will add the possibility to have a blog with the next update. Stay tuned!
Fantastic theme, am seriously considering buying this theme for my new clothing brand. I would need to change it though, would the site suit a white background? Does the main site sit in a #container in the CSS so I could keep that container white and add a background to the rest? Is it a full eccomerce solution and not just a theme?? And lastly could I still have a blog using this as part of my site? Thanks in advance, sorry for the many questions
Nick, if you are good with css you can do quite some customizations. You can even create your own child theme and change the html to suit your needs!
Have you had the chance to look into the features pdf and watch the video? There’s a functioning ecommerce engine behind it that’s actively developed by us so no plugins needed for the ecommerce part but please note the features that are in at the moment.
Make sure the theme can work for you and your needs before you purchase.
The ecommerce engine will continue to be developed to include more features as time passes so even if it may not meet your needs right now do stay tuned!
I’m preparing an update as we speak and I will include a blog section as well
Another quick question, whats a localized parent theme with a child theme??
It means if you need to translate the theme to another language you can do so
Also using a parent theme with a child theme gives you the freedom to customize the child theme or create your own and whenever the theme updates you don’t lose your customizations.
Hallo,
Hi !
I think your theme is amazing and will buy as soon as the blog update is added, please Email when its finished, thankyou
Nic
The update with the Blog has been added!
Please see here it does mention: “Optional Blog”.
I still need to update the demo though
Hi,
this looks very promising. Still,I got a few questions.
– is it possible to add article numbers from an external inventory database?
– is it possible to (bulk) import products?
– is it possible to export orders / customers?
Thank you
Thomas
All 3 points have been requested before and are on our to do list
Please check back for updates – best way is to follow me on Twitter!
Thanks, will do. Got a final question.
Is it possible to restrict checkout to a minumum of – say – 6 orders?
Thomas
If you help me understand why you would need to do this then I may be able to see if it is possible- please email me
Has anyone had JqZOOM worked with multiple images. It seems that the clothes shop theme restricted the implementation to work with only one image with JQZOOM. This is a bummer…
Is this theme compatible with WP 2.9? I have already purchased it, and have earlier versions of WP so that isn’t a particular issue, but it would be nice to know (as in ignore the upgrade).
Chris
Yes
Wonderful and thank you!
Chris
Just watching the video I am astounded at what wonderful work you’ve done. I have been trying to find a theme to get my online store off the ground for a long time; this is it and a whole lot more. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this available to regular old people.
Keep up the amazing work!
HI,
Can this theme have dual currency?
Not at the moment but a currency converter is already on our to do list with so many other things. I plan on making the list public with my site’s redesign so people can see what’s on it and request more features
hello . i read that you create products throught posts. So can we use qtranslate plugin to make multilanguage eshops?
certainly!
thats good news. ill go at a client today and i will sugest your template
Thank you!
Hi,
Great theme, think we’re going to buy, but I have a question: how do upgrades work? Are they included in the purchase price or do we pay for each revision. This may be listed somewhere, but I didn’t see it.
Cheers!
Travis
updates are free for life!
wonderful work you’ve done. Great theme, love the functionality, we’re going to buy shortly, just want to confirm how easy to change the colors and design bit off the theme, also please how easy is it to install? with the latest version of WP. THANK YOU
Changing colours and design can be done over css so if you have some basic css skills you should be fine. The code is well commented out. How easy is it to install? Depends how good you are in following a help file and instructions. I have provided detailed documentation so you should be fine. If you have any issues just give me a shout
Great template. I have a client with 450 sku’s who is presently using Shopify. How easy is it BULK transfer those sku’s to your template?
Steve, we don’t have a csv bulk upload yet included (will be in the future) however as products are created using wordpress posts there are some plugins out there that you work for you and do just that. I have not tried any personally yet so I cannot say how good they are but you can always give them a go.
Hope this helps
Quick question. In order to test my designs out, I’ve set up a store at spreadshirt.com. They allow you to ‘put’ the store in your website by using iframes. I know a little html and css, but was wondering if this would be a simple thing to do using your template?
Anyway, great design! I can’t wait to purchase it and get started customizing it. Keep up the great work!
Then you may want to purchase the html version of the theme and not the wordpress version for what you need there.
so I’m deeply impressed. not only by the design and the template itself but by the presentation and especially the video. I feel like I’m getting such a deal!
you said that Requests are welcome… I would very much need the three features you are apparently already working on: advanced inventory (quantity per product option); separate billing and shipping address and paypal pro.
what’s your estimated timeline on those?
thanks
We are finishing things up this week and The Furniture Store will get that update first. The Clothes Shop will follow next
Dear Sarah,
I love your theme!!! I’d like to buy it and use, but I have a strange question: can I deactivate the shopping cart function – I would rather use it as a catalogue without possibility of online order.
I guess, it’s possible to use it for introducing other products than clothes. Am I right? Thanks for your answer!
Sylvie
Yes you can! Both the shopping cart and the membership area are optional settings in the admin
You can use the theme for other products as well-it does not have to be clothing
Happy to see that you are back on board:)
Thanks for your reply, I purchased it, it really worth every penny:)
I think your wordpress theme is outstanding on the market, especially a big opportunity for those who would like to have a “non-English speaking” shopping cart, additionally the usability and intelligency behind your theme is amazing too.
I try to adopt it and I’m confused how to set up “Shop by….” widget. I’m afraid I missed the point and it must be simple….
So, if I would like to have “Shop by colours (red, white)” next to products – when I add a new post -should I use category (red and white)or post tags or colour tags?
(I supposed using colour tags, but when I add widget what should put in category field.)
Until now: I was able to select “showing products with sidebar” from theme option, create and ftp images to colour_img folder, but have no clue how to make it work.
Please help me to understand the process, thank you,
Sylvie
Sylvie, have you had the chance to read through the adding_content.pdf? On page 8 there’s a section that begins with the question: “I don’t understand the point of the „Shop by…“ widgets. What are these widgets and how do I
use them?” I think that answers your question.
hi Sarah hope u r fine, just a quick question i’m going to buy this theme today and just realize u mention a new update would be coming soon! how soon? and is it easy to update if i just purchased and install this one this weekend and then later update? kind regards
Of course! All updates are free for life
Hi Sarah
I love your templates, and think one of them is just what I’m looking for, but I can’t work out which! I have watched your great video for theclothesshop and was going to go ahead & buy it, but then saw your comment above about Furniture Store getting the updates first, so had a look at that demo and now I’m confused
I run a natural paint store and want to use the site to sell paint, preparations products, tools etc. as well as having a ‘blog’ page – it looks as though Furniture Store has the blog option but not Clothes Shop, but I love the layout of Clothes Shop.
Having had my fingers burned setting up templates and plugins with wp-ecommerce and shopp (support non-existent, sadly, as shopp seemed really promising) I don’t want to start on yet another option and find I chose the wrong one
Best wishes, and well done on such great templates, with design & function all in one!
Emma
Oh, and I’d love to see the e-commerce video to see more of the back end of that too – is it up somewhere already?
I’m afraid the video does not show so much the backend as the front end but like I said above I do have the screenshots available so let me know if you like to have them
Hello Emma,
thank you for your interest in our work!
the Clothes Shop does have a Blog section- only thing I did not have time to update the demo with it
If you look at the features PDF you’ll it mentioned:
http://theclothesshop.sarah-neuber.de/TheClothesShop_features.pdf
Blog
• Optional Blog Section
• styles for threaded comments (if enabled),
• seperated comments and trackbacks (appear in animated dropdown),
• styled admin comments
• custom Avatar for users with no Avatar!
Feel free to request the backend sceenshots so you can see what’s available.
the FurnitureStore will receive the updates first but then the Clothes Shop will follow closely
Hi Sarah
Thanks for all this info – I’d love to see as many screen shots (front end & back end) as you can fire over, to help me decide between the two.
Thanks
sending now
Hi Sarah,
I just finished watching the video and would like to congratulate you on the work you have done with this template.
It is definitely my next purchase.
Again, thank you for such a wonderful effort.
Thank you! You should see the update that’s coming up. It makes the features on the video really minor in comparison
Hi Sarah,
Just love your Template. Amazing work! I’ve been thinking of getting Magento but this is awesome. Checked out the video too. I would like to purchase it but I have one quick question though.
I design Photo Collages and a lot of them are in Landscape mode. Most of the images in your catalog are in Portrait mode. Do we have to stick with Portrait? Also, since images are my main product in the catalog, can I choose to have bigger images to display. What is the largest size that can be displayed.
Thanks again and keep up the wonderful work.
Shilpi
Hey there,
thank you for your interest in on of our themes
You can define the image size from the theme settings so that gives you some freedom right there as to the size. You may need to adjust the css so that the columns align correctly but I can help you with that when the time comes. (Unless you have some basic css skills)
Regarding the largest image size that can be displayed. On multiple product pages I offer 1-5 columns so the 1 column is the largest (in width) but like I said as you can edit the image widths in the theme settings you can set the largest size to be whatever you want it to
Let me know if you want screenshots of the theme settings so you can see how editable the theme is without touching the template files.
What type of system does the payments work? Can I use paypal? I am just wondering how I am going to collect
fund?
Morgan, have you had the chance to read through the features PDF I have here:
http://theclothesshop.sarah-neuber.de/TheClothesShop_features.pdf
You’ll notice the following:
Payment options:
• PayPal Payments Standard
• Authorize.net
• WorldPay
• Bank transfer in advance
• Cash at store
• Cash on delivery
The upcoming update will integrate PayPal Payments Pro.
